ELECTRICAL, INSTRUMENTATION & AUTOMATION

Pressure Instrumentation

Measures gauge, absolute, differential and vacuum pressure for control, monitoring, equipment protection and custody/process calculations.

Pressure Instrumentation

FUNCTION & CONTROL METHOD

Technology and range are selected from static pressure, turndown, pulsation, plugging, temperature, response and required accuracy. Remote seals, manifolds or purging are applied where process conditions require.

MAIN HARDWARE & SYSTEM BOUNDARY

Pressure transmitters, DP transmitters, gauges, switches, manifolds, diaphragm seals, impulse piping/tubing, root valves and junction/remote I/O interfaces.

CRITICAL DESIGN INPUTS

Approved P&IDs and control philosophy, process ranges and alarm/trip limits, hazardous-area classification, environmental conditions, I/O and load lists, availability/redundancy target, package interfaces, communication protocols, cybersecurity and client standards.

ENGINEERING DELIVERABLES

System architecture, instrument/equipment index, datasheets, I/O list, hook-ups, loop and wiring diagrams, cabinet/panel drawings, cable schedule, network drawings, control narratives, cause-and-effect, logic diagrams, graphics, test procedures and as-built backups.

FUNCTIONAL SAFETY, RELIABILITY & CYBERSECURITY

Fail-safe alarm/trip allocation, overrange protection, SIL capability where required, impulse-line segregation and hazardous-area certification are verified.

TESTING, COMMISSIONING & APPLICATIONS

CDU/VDU columns, reactors, drums, filters, pumps, compressors, tanks and utility networks. Calibration, loop check and trip testing are completed before start-up.

CODES, STANDARDS & QUALITY BASIS

IEC 61511 interfaces, ISA practices, ASME process connections, ATEX/IECEx or applicable GOST/EAC hazardous-area requirements.

CONTRACTUAL CODE BASIS

IEC 61511 interfaces, ISA practices, ASME process connections, ATEX/IECEx or applicable GOST/EAC hazardous-area requirements.
